    Art Deco is geometric and architectural. Edwardian is lacy and fine. Victorian is heavier and more ornamental. They are very different looks that all get filed under 'vintage'.

    Milgrain beading and filigree are the first things to soften with wear. They can be sharpened up by a jeweller, but a design with deeper relief will simply hold its character longer.
