Planning a surprise?

Getting it right

Five tips for an accurate size

  1. Measure warm, at the end of the day. Fingers are smallest in the morning and in the cold.
  2. Check the knuckle. The ring has to slide over it. If your knuckle is much wider than the base of the finger, pick the size between the two.
  3. Between two sizes? Go up. A ring that is a touch loose is comfortable; one that is tight is not.
  4. Wide bands fit snugger. For a band wider than 6 mm, go up a quarter size.
  5. Buying for someone else? Borrow a ring they wear on the same finger and use "Measure a ring", or order now and confirm the size later.

Questions

Ring sizing FAQ

Can I order in my own country's size?

Yes. Our ring pages show sizes in your country's scale automatically: UK letters, European millimetres, Italian and Japanese numbers, or US sizes. You can switch scale beside the size box. We add the matching US size and the exact measurement to your order, so nothing is lost in conversion.

What if I don't know the ring size yet?

Tick confirm size later on the ring page and order as normal. We'll email you, and we only start making the ring once we have the size. The making time counts from that day.

How accurate is measuring at home?

A ring that already fits is the most reliable guide: measure its inside diameter in the Measure a ring tab. Paper or string works too, but it can stretch or twist, so measure two or three times and use the average.

My measurement is between two sizes. Which should I choose?

Choose the larger one. For a band wider than 6 mm, go up a further quarter size, because wide bands sit more snugly.

Do you make half and quarter sizes?

Yes. Every ring is made to order, so we make it to the exact size you choose, including half and quarter sizes.
