The piece
About this design
The last of the seven dome bands, and the only one with a shape you read rather than simply see. A small heart cut diamond is sunk flush into the crown of the tapered dome, its cleft and point held inside the gold so the outline stays crisp at a size where it could easily turn mushy. Cutting a heart this small and keeping it recognisable is the difficult part. The result is a ring that looks like a plain gold band from across a room and reveals itself only when someone looks closely, which is most of its charm.

The centre stone is graded by someone other than us
A lab grown diamond over 1.00 carat goes to IGI — an independent gemological laboratory — and is graded there, and its report ships with the piece. Below that weight the accent stones are not individually certified; nobody in the trade certifies melee. We would rather tell you that here than let you open the box expecting paperwork that was never coming.

Check the report against IGI's own database
If your piece came with a report, type its number into IGI's site. It will show you the same stone, graded on the same date. If it does not match what arrived, you did not get what you paid for — and you have thirty days to send it back.

Grown, not mined — and we say so everywhere
A lab grown diamond is a diamond: same carbon lattice, same hardness, same fire, and it passes a diamond tester exactly like a mined stone. The only difference is where it formed. You will never find that fact buried in the small print here.
