The piece
About this design
The narrowest of the vintage bands, cut with a running vine that twists along the full circumference in a single continuous line. Because the band is slim the carving had to be kept fine, and the result is more delicate and lace-like than the broader scroll designs in this group, with heavy milgrain beading on both edges taking up a noticeable share of the width. There are no stones. Worn alone it is quiet and antique looking; stacked with one of the wider engraved bands it gives the pairing a graduated, collected-over-time quality rather than a matched-set look.

The centre stone is graded by someone other than us
A lab grown diamond over 1.00 carat goes to IGI — an independent gemological laboratory — and is graded there, and its report ships with the piece. Below that weight the accent stones are not individually certified; nobody in the trade certifies melee. We would rather tell you that here than let you open the box expecting paperwork that was never coming.

Check the report against IGI's own database
If your piece came with a report, type its number into IGI's site. It will show you the same stone, graded on the same date. If it does not match what arrived, you did not get what you paid for — and you have thirty days to send it back.

Grown, not mined — and we say so everywhere
A lab grown diamond is a diamond: same carbon lattice, same hardness, same fire, and it passes a diamond tester exactly like a mined stone. The only difference is where it formed. You will never find that fact buried in the small print here.
