About this design
Eight small round diamonds ring the centre stone, and between each pair sits a shaped gold prong that reaches up over the edge like a petal. The prongs do the holding and the halo fills the spaces, so the two are read together as one flower rather than a stone with a frame around it. Two further accents sit flush in each shoulder, and the band itself stays narrow and plain.

They reach over the girdle only, in the gaps between the halo stones, so the table and crown of the diamond stay fully open.
A halo widens the whole head, so the flower reads considerably larger across than the centre stone alone.
The halo is round overall, so a straight band sits against it in the same way it would against a standard halo.
They sit flush in the metal, level with the surface of the band, which keeps the shoulders smooth to the touch.
A soft brush around the outside of the flower with warm soapy water. The gaps between the prongs are open, so residue rinses straight out.

The centre stone is graded by someone other than us
A lab grown diamond over 1.00 carat goes to IGI — an independent gemological laboratory — and is graded there, and its report ships with the piece. Below that weight the accent stones are not individually certified; nobody in the trade certifies melee. We would rather tell you that here than let you open the box expecting paperwork that was never coming.

Check the report against IGI's own database
If your piece came with a report, type its number into IGI's site. It will show you the same stone, graded on the same date. If it does not match what arrived, you did not get what you paid for — and you have thirty days to send it back.

Grown, not mined — and we say so everywhere
A lab grown diamond is a diamond: same carbon lattice, same hardness, same fire, and it passes a diamond tester exactly like a mined stone. The only difference is where it formed. You will never find that fact buried in the small print here.
