About this design
Most vintage bands give you abstract pattern. This one gives you a subject: a four-petal flower, repeated and linked petal to petal the whole way around the band, cut in relief and held between two fine lines of milgrain. It is the detail people notice when they take your hand, because it resolves into something recognisable at close range while reading as texture from across a table. Above it the round brilliant sits in four slim claws, completely clear of the pattern. Inside, the band is smooth, polished and stamped with the Driona D.

The four-petal motif has been in jewellery for well over a century, which is a better test than any current trend. It is not a character or a novelty shape — it is a repeating geometric flower, the same family of ornament you find on Edwardian bands still being worn today.
No, because the relief is low and the band is only 2.40mm. From arm's length the flowers read as texture, and the round stone is still the one bright, smooth thing on the ring. Up close, the detail is the reward.
Yes. The band is straight and the stone sits low, so a plain flat band sits flush. Many customers pair it with a plain band deliberately, so the floral ring stays the one with the detail.
As a soft repeating rhythm rather than as recognisable flowers — you have to look closely to pick out the petals. That is deliberate: an obviously floral band dates quickly, whereas a suggestion of one does not.
Yellow and rose gold, because the warm tone deepens the shadow between the petals and makes each blossom read clearly. White gold and platinum give a cooler, flatter, more graphic version of the same pattern.

The centre stone is graded by someone other than us
A lab grown diamond over 1.00 carat goes to IGI — an independent gemological laboratory — and is graded there, and its report ships with the piece. Below that weight the accent stones are not individually certified; nobody in the trade certifies melee. We would rather tell you that here than let you open the box expecting paperwork that was never coming.

Check the report against IGI's own database
If your piece came with a report, type its number into IGI's site. It will show you the same stone, graded on the same date. If it does not match what arrived, you did not get what you paid for — and you have thirty days to send it back.

A lab grown diamond is a diamond: same carbon lattice, same hardness, same fire, and it passes a diamond tester exactly like a mined stone. The only difference is where it formed. You will never find that fact buried in the small print here.
