About this design
Scrollwork is cut in relief the whole way round this band and finished with milgrain beading along both edges — the kind of detail that used to be done at a bench in the 1920s and mostly is not attempted now. The radiant cut sits square above it in four double claws, and tucked underneath the basket is a row of small diamonds you only catch from the side. That hidden row is why the ring reads as expensive from every angle, not just face-on.

It is a small halo set into the side of the setting rather than around the top of the stone. From above you see a clean radiant cut solitaire; from the side you get a flash of extra diamond. It is the detail people notice when they take a proper look at your hand.
Not in any normal lifetime of wear. It is cut into solid metal, not stamped into a thin plating, so the relief goes deep. The high points soften very slightly over decades, which is exactly what gives genuine antique rings their character.
No. The band is 2.40mm — slim enough to sit under a wedding band — and every edge is rounded off. The detail is in the surface, not in anything that stands proud and catches.
Yellow and rose gold, by some margin — a warm metal throws soft shadow into the cuts and the scrollwork reads from across a room. White gold and platinum give a cooler, sharper look where the milgrain beading stands out more than the scrolls. There is no wrong answer, but they are genuinely different rings.

They look similar in outline, but an emerald cut is step cut — long flat facets that give broad flashes — while a radiant is brilliant cut underneath, with dozens of small facets throwing fire in every direction. The centre stone is graded by someone other than us
A lab grown diamond over 1.00 carat goes to IGI — an independent gemological laboratory — and is graded there, and its report ships with the piece. Below that weight the accent stones are not individually certified; nobody in the trade certifies melee. We would rather tell you that here than let you open the box expecting paperwork that was never coming.

Check the report against IGI's own database
If your piece came with a report, type its number into IGI's site. It will show you the same stone, graded on the same date. If it does not match what arrived, you did not get what you paid for — and you have thirty days to send it back.

A lab grown diamond is a diamond: same carbon lattice, same hardness, same fire, and it passes a diamond tester exactly like a mined stone. The only difference is where it formed. You will never find that fact buried in the small print here.
