About this design
A single pear-shaped Fancy Intense Yellow lab grown diamond, held point-up by a V-shaped tip prong and two rounded claws at the base, so nearly the whole stone stays open to the light. The slim wire basket keeps the stud sitting close to the lobe, the warm tone of solid 14K yellow gold deepens the yellow of the diamond, and a screw back locks it securely in place. Sold as one earring, it suits a second piercing, a mismatched pair, or replacing a single lost stud.

A lab grown diamond over 1.00 carat goes to IGI — an independent gemological laboratory — and is graded there, and its report ships with the piece. Below that weight the accent stones are not individually certified; nobody in the trade certifies melee. We would rather tell you that here than let you open the box expecting paperwork that was never coming.

Check the report against IGI's own database
If your piece came with a report, type its number into IGI's site. It will show you the same stone, graded on the same date. If it does not match what arrived, you did not get what you paid for — and you have thirty days to send it back.
