The piece
About this design
A plain polished oval hoop hangs from its top, and inside it a narrow line of small round diamonds curves down in an S, like a ribbon falling through the frame. The line ends in an oval diamond held by four prongs near the bottom of the hoop. The rest of the oval is left empty, so the diamond swirl looks suspended in open space. It is a light, graphic piece that works well on its own or layered.

The centre stone is graded by someone other than us
A lab grown diamond over 1.00 carat goes to IGI — an independent gemological laboratory — and is graded there, and its report ships with the piece. Below that weight the accent stones are not individually certified; nobody in the trade certifies melee. We would rather tell you that here than let you open the box expecting paperwork that was never coming.

Check the report against IGI's own database
If your piece came with a report, type its number into IGI's site. It will show you the same stone, graded on the same date. If it does not match what arrived, you did not get what you paid for — and you have thirty days to send it back.

Grown, not mined — and we say so everywhere
A lab grown diamond is a diamond: same carbon lattice, same hardness, same fire, and it passes a diamond tester exactly like a mined stone. The only difference is where it formed. You will never find that fact buried in the small print here.
