The piece
About this design
An emerald cut is a step cut — long straight facets cut in parallel rows — so it flashes in broad sheets instead of sparkling in small points. It rewards a clean stone, which is why we set it EF color and VS clarity. The rim here is stepped as well, echoing the cut corners and the rows in the stone, and it gives the whole thing a quiet Art Deco squareness.
Specifications
- Stone: Lab Grown Diamond, EF Color, VS Clarity, IGI certified — also available in Moissanite
- Setting: full bezel with a stepped rim that follows the cut corners
- Back: open behind the stone, so light comes through from the back as well as the front
- Bail: tapered and integrated, not soldered on as an afterthought
- Made to the stone: the mount is built around the size you choose, so the whole pendant scales with it
- Chain: not included — the chain in the photographs is styling only, so you can hang it on one you already own
- Metal options: solid 10K, 14K or 18K gold in yellow, white or rose, 925 sterling silver, or platinum — solid throughout, never plated
- Made to order in our own workshop, with free worldwide shipping

Questions about this piece
The things customers ask us most about this exact design.
Because it is cut differently, on purpose. A round brilliant has dozens of small facets that scatter light into points of fire. An emerald cut has long parallel steps that act more like mirrors, giving slower, wider flashes. People who choose it are usually after that calmer, glassier look rather than maximum sparkle.
It does. Those open steps act like a window into the stone, so anything inside shows more readily than it would under a brilliant's busy facets. Ours are VS, which is clean to the eye, and every one comes with its IGI certificate so you are not taking our word for it.
No. This is the pendant on its own. The chain you see in the photographs is there to show how the piece hangs and is not part of the order. Most people already have a chain they like, and the bail is made to take an ordinary cable or box chain, so you can simply thread it onto that. If you would rather buy one with it, message us before you order and we will sort it out.
Use the size options on this page as the guide — the comparison photograph shows every size we make side by side, and there are shots of each one worn on the neck, so you can see what actually sits where. An emerald cut looks longer and flatter than a brilliant of the same weight, because more of it is spread across the top. The price updates as you change the option, so you can find the point where the look and the budget meet.
Warm water, a drop of dish soap and a soft toothbrush once a month. What dulls a pendant is skin oil and body lotion settling under the stone, not scratches. Take it off before swimming in chlorine, and put it on last when you are getting ready, after perfume and hairspray.
Every piece is made to order in our own workshop — solid 10K, 14K or 18K gold, 925 sterling silver or platinum, never plated — and set with IGI certified lab grown diamonds. Because we sell directly with no middlemen, you get true fine-jewelry quality at a fair price, backed by free worldwide shipping and 30-day returns for eligible standard jewelry within 30 days of delivery (see return policy).

Proof, not promises
Everything here can be checked
Anyone can call a diamond certified. What matters is whether you can go and confirm it somewhere that is not us — so every claim below is one you can test yourself.
A lab grown diamond over 1.00 carat ships with its own IGI report. Accent stones and moissanite are not certified.

01
The centre stone is graded by someone other than us
A lab grown diamond over 1.00 carat goes to IGI — an independent gemological laboratory — and is graded there, and its report ships with the piece. Below that weight the accent stones are not individually certified; nobody in the trade certifies melee. We would rather tell you that here than let you open the box expecting paperwork that was never coming.
-
02
Check the report against IGI's own database
If your piece came with a report, type its number into IGI's site. It will show you the same stone, graded on the same date. If it does not match what arrived, you did not get what you paid for — and you have thirty days to send it back.

Grown, not mined — and we say so everywhere
A lab grown diamond is a diamond: same carbon lattice, same hardness, same fire, and it passes a diamond tester exactly like a mined stone. The only difference is where it formed. You will never find that fact buried in the small print here.

Solid metal, all the way through
10K, 14K or 18K gold, 925 sterling silver or platinum — solid, never plated over brass. Plating wears through in months and takes the colour with it. Weigh it, test it, or send it to a jeweller.

Cut, set and finished at our own bench
Every pendant is made to order at our own bench, not bought in finished and relabelled. That is why we can change a bail, a chain length or the way a stone sits — a reseller could not.

In their words
What customers say
Unedited, and left by people who actually paid for the piece.
No one has reviewed this exact piece yet
It is made to order, so it is new to the catalogue. Rather than fill this space with reviews written about other pieces, we have left it honest — the photographs on this page were all sent in by customers, and our reviews page has what buyers have said about Driona itself.
-
Verified purchases
Requests go out to the order after it ships, so a review means someone was actually sent the piece.
-
The bad ones stay up
We do not delete low ratings. If something went wrong you should be able to read about it here before you order.

Photos welcome
A photo on a real hand in real light tells you more about a stone than any of our studio shots can.
