The piece
About this design
This band drops to a sharp V at the front, and the pave runs down both arms of that V and stops exactly at the point where they meet. The rest of the shank is left as plain polished gold, so from above you see two clean diagonal lines of stone converging rather than a curve. The angle is deeper than on a soft contour band, which is what lets it sit tight against a ring with a low, wide setting.

The centre stone is graded by someone other than us
A lab grown diamond over 1.00 carat goes to IGI — an independent gemological laboratory — and is graded there, and its report ships with the piece. Below that weight the accent stones are not individually certified; nobody in the trade certifies melee. We would rather tell you that here than let you open the box expecting paperwork that was never coming.

Check the report against IGI's own database
If your piece came with a report, type its number into IGI's site. It will show you the same stone, graded on the same date. If it does not match what arrived, you did not get what you paid for — and you have thirty days to send it back.

Grown, not mined — and we say so everywhere
A lab grown diamond is a diamond: same carbon lattice, same hardness, same fire, and it passes a diamond tester exactly like a mined stone. The only difference is where it formed. You will never find that fact buried in the small print here.
