The piece
About this design
A princess cut diamond sits square in a thin bezel at the centre, turned so its sides run straight up and across. Eight marquise diamonds surround it in pairs, and four pear diamonds point out to the top, bottom and sides, so the outline becomes a four-point cross of petals. Small gold beads fill the gaps between the pairs. The square centre gives the flower a crisp, geometric heart that sets it apart from round-centred cluster designs.

The centre stone is graded by someone other than us
A lab grown diamond over 1.00 carat goes to IGI — an independent gemological laboratory — and is graded there, and its report ships with the piece. Below that weight the accent stones are not individually certified; nobody in the trade certifies melee. We would rather tell you that here than let you open the box expecting paperwork that was never coming.

Check the report against IGI's own database
If your piece came with a report, type its number into IGI's site. It will show you the same stone, graded on the same date. If it does not match what arrived, you did not get what you paid for — and you have thirty days to send it back.

A lab grown diamond is a diamond: same carbon lattice, same hardness, same fire, and it passes a diamond tester exactly like a mined stone. The only difference is where it formed. You will never find that fact buried in the small print here.
