The piece

About this design

A square radiant is the shape to choose if you want the sparkle of a princess cut without its fragile corners. It uses brilliant-style faceting in a square outline, but with the corners cropped rather than left sharp — and here they are enclosed entirely by the bezel. The result is a bright, chunky square of light sitting flush in a clean gold frame, low against the finger, with the fire of a brilliant of the vulnerability.

Specifications

  • Stone: Lab Grown Diamond, EF Color, VS Clarity, IGI certified — also available in Moissanite
  • Cut and setting: Square radiant cut in a full bezel setting, low profile
  • Shown in photos: 2.0 ct centre stone — choose your own size from the Carat option
  • Band: 2.15mm wide, plain polished finish, tapering into the bezel
  • Metal options: solid 10K, 14K or 18K gold in yellow, white or rose, 925 sterling silver, or platinum — solid throughout, never plated
  • Made to order in our own workshop, with free worldwide shipping

Questions about this piece

The things customers ask us most about this exact design.

Both are square and both use brilliant-style faceting, but a princess has four sharp corners while a radiant has them cropped. That makes the radiant noticeably more durable and gives it a slightly softer, broader flash of light.

Close to it. A radiant uses brilliant-style faceting rather than steps, so it produces genuine fire rather than the wide calm flashes of an emerald cut, while keeping a strong geometric outline.

Because the corners are the part most likely to be knocked, and a bezel is the only setting that covers them completely. It also gives you a square metal frame around a square stone, which is a cleaner look than four prongs.

Chemically and optically identical, IGI certified. Selling direct from our own workshop with no middlemen is what lets the same spend reach a bigger stone.

It sits squarely rather than lengthening, so on a shorter finger it reads bold and modern rather than elongating. If you want the lengthening effect instead, compare it with the oval or marquise in this same bezel.

Every piece is made to order in our own workshop — solid 10K, 14K or 18K gold, 925 sterling silver or platinum, never plated — and set with IGI certified lab grown diamonds. Because we sell directly with no middlemen, you get true fine-jewelry quality at a fair price, backed by free worldwide shipping and easy 30-day returns.

Proof, not promises

Everything here can be checked

Anyone can call a diamond certified. What matters is whether you can go and confirm it somewhere that is not us — so every claim below is one you can test yourself.

A lab grown diamond over 1.00 carat ships with its own IGI report. Accent stones and moissanite are not certified.

  1. 01

The centre stone is graded by someone other than us

A lab grown diamond over 1.00 carat goes to IGI — an independent gemological laboratory — and is graded there, and its report ships with the piece. Below that weight the accent stones are not individually certified; nobody in the trade certifies melee. We would rather tell you that here than let you open the box expecting paperwork that was never coming.

  2. 02

Check the report against IGI's own database

If your piece came with a report, type its number into IGI's site. It will show you the same stone, graded on the same date. If it does not match what arrived, you did not get what you paid for — and you have thirty days to send it back.

    Verify a report on igi.org
  3. 03

Grown, not mined — and we say so everywhere

A lab grown diamond is a diamond: same carbon lattice, same hardness, same fire, and it passes a diamond tester exactly like a mined stone. The only difference is where it formed. You will never find that fact buried in the small print here.

  4. 04

Solid metal, all the way through

10K, 14K or 18K gold, 925 sterling silver or platinum — solid, never plated over brass. Plating wears through in months and takes the colour with it. Weigh it, test it, or send it to a jeweller.

  5. 05

Cut, set and finished at our own bench

Every ring is made to order at our own bench, not bought in finished and relabelled. That is why we can move a stone, change a shank profile or cut a size we do not list — a reseller could not.

  6. 06

Talk to us before you spend anything

Thirty minutes on a call, free, no obligation to buy. Bring a screenshot of something you saw elsewhere and we will tell you honestly whether ours is the better stone.

In their words

What customers say

Unedited, and left by people who actually paid for the piece.

No one has reviewed this exact piece yet

It is made to order, so it is new to the catalogue. Rather than fill this space with reviews written about other pieces, we have left it honest — the photographs on this page were all sent in by customers, and our reviews page has what buyers have said about Driona itself.

  • Verified purchases

Requests go out to the order after it ships, so a review means someone was actually sent the piece.

  • The bad ones stay up

We do not delete low ratings. If something went wrong you should be able to read about it here before you order.

  • Photos welcome

A photo on a real hand in real light tells you more about a stone than any of our studio shots can.
