About this design
Step cuts are calm by design, which is why the hidden halo suits them so well — it adds light without adding busyness anywhere you can see it from above. The emerald cut keeps its long clean lines and wide rolling flashes, while a row of small round diamonds sits around the basket underneath, catching the eye only when the hand turns. The band remains plain. It is the most restrained way to put extra diamonds into a ring, which rather suits the most restrained cut.

The centre stone is graded by someone other than us
A lab grown diamond over 1.00 carat goes to IGI — an independent gemological laboratory — and is graded there, and its report ships with the piece. Below that weight the accent stones are not individually certified; nobody in the trade certifies melee. We would rather tell you that here than let you open the box expecting paperwork that was never coming.

Check the report against IGI's own database
If your piece came with a report, type its number into IGI's site. It will show you the same stone, graded on the same date. If it does not match what arrived, you did not get what you paid for — and you have thirty days to send it back.

A lab grown diamond is a diamond: same carbon lattice, same hardness, same fire, and it passes a diamond tester exactly like a mined stone. The only difference is where it formed. You will never find that fact buried in the small print here.
