The piece
About this design
The band comes to a clear V at the front and a single pear-shaped diamond hangs from the point, tip downward, so it finishes the chevron rather than sitting on top of it. Above it, round diamonds in individual gold bezels step up each arm of the V, growing slightly as they climb. Every stone is rimmed in metal, which gives the whole front a linked, chain-like outline instead of the open look of claws.

Tip down, towards the fingertip, so it continues the line of the V. Worn the other way the point sits against the knuckle.
It does, and the pear tucks neatly below a solitaire's basket. A very wide setting may sit slightly proud of the V.
The rims connect visually from one stone to the next, so the row reads as a single linked shape. They also keep the pear tip fully enclosed.
It is the thinnest part of any pear cut, which is exactly why it is bezelled here — the gold rim covers it on all sides.

The centre stone is graded by someone other than us
A lab grown diamond over 1.00 carat goes to IGI — an independent gemological laboratory — and is graded there, and its report ships with the piece. Below that weight the accent stones are not individually certified; nobody in the trade certifies melee. We would rather tell you that here than let you open the box expecting paperwork that was never coming.

Check the report against IGI's own database
If your piece came with a report, type its number into IGI's site. It will show you the same stone, graded on the same date. If it does not match what arrived, you did not get what you paid for — and you have thirty days to send it back.

Grown, not mined — and we say so everywhere
A lab grown diamond is a diamond: same carbon lattice, same hardness, same fire, and it passes a diamond tester exactly like a mined stone. The only difference is where it formed. You will never find that fact buried in the small print here.
