About this design
The outer face of this 5.10 mm band is covered in a field of small four-sided pyramids, cut so that each one throws light in a different direction. The result is a band that reads as bright texture from a distance rather than as a polished mirror, and it hides everyday marks far better than a plain surface. The inner face is left smooth and polished, so the texture is entirely on the outside.

The pyramid tips are small and the peaks are broken slightly in finishing, so it feels like a fine grain rather than points. It will not catch on skin.
It hides them very well. A broken surface scatters light, so the fine marks that show clearly on a polished band disappear into the pattern.
Slowly, on the part that faces outward and takes knocks. It can be re-cut, but most people find it takes years to become noticeable.
It is made in one design for anyone. At 5.10 mm and 1.90 mm tall it has real presence, which is why it is often chosen as a men's band.
Warm soapy water and a soft brush worked across the grain. Skip polishing cloths — they only shine the tips and dull the effect.

The centre stone is graded by someone other than us
A lab grown diamond over 1.00 carat goes to IGI — an independent gemological laboratory — and is graded there, and its report ships with the piece. Below that weight the accent stones are not individually certified; nobody in the trade certifies melee. We would rather tell you that here than let you open the box expecting paperwork that was never coming.

Check the report against IGI's own database
If your piece came with a report, type its number into IGI's site. It will show you the same stone, graded on the same date. If it does not match what arrived, you did not get what you paid for — and you have thirty days to send it back.

Grown, not mined — and we say so everywhere
A lab grown diamond is a diamond: same carbon lattice, same hardness, same fire, and it passes a diamond tester exactly like a mined stone. The only difference is where it formed. You will never find that fact buried in the small print here.
