The piece
About this design
The whole band is modelled as a run of flattened curb links, so it reads as a chain that has been closed into a ring rather than a shank with a pattern cut into it. Each link is polished on its top face, which is what makes the row catch light in short bright dashes as the hand turns. It sits about 2.60 mm wide and stays low on the finger, so it stacks against a plain band without fighting it.

The centre stone is graded by someone other than us
A lab grown diamond over 1.00 carat goes to IGI — an independent gemological laboratory — and is graded there, and its report ships with the piece. Below that weight the accent stones are not individually certified; nobody in the trade certifies melee. We would rather tell you that here than let you open the box expecting paperwork that was never coming.

Check the report against IGI's own database
If your piece came with a report, type its number into IGI's site. It will show you the same stone, graded on the same date. If it does not match what arrived, you did not get what you paid for — and you have thirty days to send it back.

Grown, not mined — and we say so everywhere
A lab grown diamond is a diamond: same carbon lattice, same hardness, same fire, and it passes a diamond tester exactly like a mined stone. The only difference is where it formed. You will never find that fact buried in the small print here.
