About this design
Two rings of marquise diamonds radiate from a round centre stone, the inner row set tight against the halo and the outer row longer and angled between them, so the petals overlap rather than line up. The finished outline is a full sunburst that fills the space between the shoulders. The band underneath stays slim and plain, which keeps the weight of the design at the top.

The outer petals reach close to the edges of the finger on most hands, so the head is significantly larger than the centre stone would suggest.
Staggering the outer petals between the inner ones removes the gaps that would otherwise show gold, so the burst reads as continuous.
Each tip is claw set individually. It is a lot of small claws, so a yearly check is sensible, particularly if the ring is worn often.
The petals extend down towards the band on all sides, so it is generally worn on its own.
Soak in warm soapy water then brush outwards from the centre along the direction of the petals, which clears the narrow gaps between the two rows.

The centre stone is graded by someone other than us
A lab grown diamond over 1.00 carat goes to IGI — an independent gemological laboratory — and is graded there, and its report ships with the piece. Below that weight the accent stones are not individually certified; nobody in the trade certifies melee. We would rather tell you that here than let you open the box expecting paperwork that was never coming.

Check the report against IGI's own database
If your piece came with a report, type its number into IGI's site. It will show you the same stone, graded on the same date. If it does not match what arrived, you did not get what you paid for — and you have thirty days to send it back.

A lab grown diamond is a diamond: same carbon lattice, same hardness, same fire, and it passes a diamond tester exactly like a mined stone. The only difference is where it formed. You will never find that fact buried in the small print here.
