Like all textured metal finishes, everyday friction will gradually soften the distinct texture over many years, creating a smooth, burnished look, though the underlying structural detail will remain.
The four prongs are securely rounded and polished to minimize snagging, but because the oval stone is elevated to allow light flow, care should be taken with delicate fabrics.
The elongated shape of a 10.50x7mm oval diamond tends to create a flattering, lengthening effect on the finger while covering more surface area than a round diamond of similar carat weight.
Because of the basket design under the center stone, a straight wedding band may sit with a slight gap. A contoured or curved band is recommended for a flush fit.

The centre stone is graded by someone other than us
A lab grown diamond over 1.00 carat goes to IGI — an independent gemological laboratory — and is graded there, and its report ships with the piece. Below that weight the accent stones are not individually certified; nobody in the trade certifies melee. We would rather tell you that here than let you open the box expecting paperwork that was never coming.

Check the report against IGI's own database
If your piece came with a report, type its number into IGI's site. It will show you the same stone, graded on the same date. If it does not match what arrived, you did not get what you paid for — and you have thirty days to send it back.
