No, the negative space between the pavé bands keeps the design visually light and breathable, ensuring comfort for everyday wear despite its wider footprint.
Because of the outward curvature of the split shank, a standard straight wedding band will leave a slight gap. A custom curved band is recommended for a flush fit.
The v-prong at the tip of the pear cut specifically protects the most vulnerable point of the stone from chipping during daily activities.
The pavé stones are set relatively flush into the metal of the split bands, which minimizes snagging on clothing compared to traditional prong-set accents.

The centre stone is graded by someone other than us
A lab grown diamond over 1.00 carat goes to IGI — an independent gemological laboratory — and is graded there, and its report ships with the piece. Below that weight the accent stones are not individually certified; nobody in the trade certifies melee. We would rather tell you that here than let you open the box expecting paperwork that was never coming.

Check the report against IGI's own database
If your piece came with a report, type its number into IGI's site. It will show you the same stone, graded on the same date. If it does not match what arrived, you did not get what you paid for — and you have thirty days to send it back.

A lab grown diamond is a diamond: same carbon lattice, same hardness, same fire, and it passes a diamond tester exactly like a mined stone. The only difference is where it formed. You will never find that fact buried in the small print here.
