About this design
Filigree is the fine end of vintage metalwork — tight curls worked at low relief, so the band reads as lace rather than carving. That is what runs around this one, the same pattern repeating the full circle with a bead of milgrain holding it at each edge. Because the relief is shallow, the ring keeps a slim, quiet profile on the finger and lets the round brilliant above stay the only bright thing on it, held in four slim claws that leave the stone open to light from every side. Inside, the band is smooth, polished and stamped with the Driona D.

It is fine curl-work cut at low relief into the surface of the metal, the detailing that defines Edwardian and early Art Deco rings. It gives you the antique look without the bulk of deep carving — the pattern is intricate, but the band stays slim.
The pattern is fine; the band is not. This is cut into a solid 2.50mm band rather than built from soldered wire the way genuine antique filigree often was, so there is nothing to bend or snap. It wears like any solid band.
Yes. The band is straight rather than tapered and the stone sits low, so a plain flat band meets it with no gap and no need for a shaped or notched fit.
Finer and tighter. Where the scroll band uses broad sweeping curves, this one is packed with small curls, so it reads as texture from a distance and only resolves into a pattern up close. It is the more delicate of the two.
White gold and platinum give the crisp, cool look of original Edwardian filigree. Yellow gold makes the pattern warmer and easier to read from a distance, because the shadow in each curl is deeper.

The centre stone is graded by someone other than us
A lab grown diamond over 1.00 carat goes to IGI — an independent gemological laboratory — and is graded there, and its report ships with the piece. Below that weight the accent stones are not individually certified; nobody in the trade certifies melee. We would rather tell you that here than let you open the box expecting paperwork that was never coming.

Check the report against IGI's own database
If your piece came with a report, type its number into IGI's site. It will show you the same stone, graded on the same date. If it does not match what arrived, you did not get what you paid for — and you have thirty days to send it back.
