The piece
About this design
A pear carries a busy band well, because its own outline is so distinct that nothing below can blur it. The shank here is a woven lattice — crossed strands running the full circle, a marquise-shaped diamond in each opening, a small round one bezel-set at each crossing point. Under the centre setting sits a concealed halo, throwing light back up into the stone from below. The point of the pear is capped with a V-prong and the rounded end held by slim claws. Inside, the shank is smooth, polished and stamped with the Driona D.

It helps more than most. The shank is 2.60mm wide and the deepest in this range through the profile, so there is real contact with the finger rather than a thin wire under a top-heavy stone. Sizing correctly still matters most, and we make to your size.
It stops at the setting. What sits under the stone instead is the concealed row of small diamonds, so from the side you get lattice, then diamonds, then the pear — three different textures stacked up.

The centre stone is graded by someone other than us
A lab grown diamond over 1.00 carat goes to IGI — an independent gemological laboratory — and is graded there, and its report ships with the piece. Below that weight the accent stones are not individually certified; nobody in the trade certifies melee. We would rather tell you that here than let you open the box expecting paperwork that was never coming.

Check the report against IGI's own database
If your piece came with a report, type its number into IGI's site. It will show you the same stone, graded on the same date. If it does not match what arrived, you did not get what you paid for — and you have thirty days to send it back.

A lab grown diamond is a diamond: same carbon lattice, same hardness, same fire, and it passes a diamond tester exactly like a mined stone. The only difference is where it formed. You will never find that fact buried in the small print here.
